About "I Love My Garden"

I can tell you agapanthus grew under my window when I was a mere 5 years old, and I pruned my grandma's roses from the time I was old enough to avoid thorns, but it took me until I was in my 20's to face gardening as my passion. I've now got more than a decade under my belt- most of which was spent in southern Wisconsin. I am now going on my third season gardening in north central Minnesota, in zone 4a. I care for roses, grow perennials, annuals, edibles, herbs, make miniature gardens and grow several tropicals I overwinter indoors in my basement. I'm on a tightish budget, so I'm pretty frugal & full of ideas. I'm also an amatuer birdwatcher. Blog posts will be accompanied by my amatuer photography whenever possible. Research is something I enjoy, so feel free to ask me questions, I will find the answer. Welcome to the garden I love.

So, you're thinking, 'this chick sure likes to talk about her patch of dirt.' You have no idea. See the blogging about gardening I did before I created a garden-focused blog (from January 07-April 08) at this link here:
